Featuring our #LoadedStory of the month, Michael Wilson: entrepreneur, engineer, superior luxury craftsman, designer, and visionary.
Michael Wilson founded Niall in 2012 with the mission to build the next great American luxury brand. Born in Texas, raised in Kansas, this entrepreneur is loaded with drive, ambition, and purpose that has been keen in the growth and success of Niall. He has combined his two passions: “watches and solving massively complex and lofty problems”. His goal is not to build a watch brand; he wants to create a heritage brand, a company that manufactures quality goods in America.
Niall is a Kansas City-based luxury timepiece company driven by traditional Swiss standards. The term “Niall” is tied to the 4th-Century High King of Ireland and traced to Wilson’s family heritage- truly inspired by an ancient legacy. Pioneering the watchmaking industry, Wilson strives to innovate design and quality to simply produce the best timepieces in the world. Wilson graduated from the University of Kansas with a Business degree and later, a Master’s in Business Administration. He knew his mission was to devote his life to developing manufactured luxury goods. Wilson began Niall by completely delving in the craft of manufacturing things; working non-stop towards extensive research and working with experts, manufacturers, engineers, laser cutters and more. According to The Good Trade, Niall is ranked the number one Watchmaker in America. Becoming well-versed in his craft, every piece created is forged into a modern legend. His focus is doing what is right, understanding patience and never settling. #LoadedStories is about entrepreneurship, craft, successes and living life against the grain. To #LiveLoaded means doing whatever it may take to pursue a dream, and Michael Wilson does just that. He is an inspiration that we wanted to share, expressing that your drive determines your divide.
